Note 1. Joan Abrams has requested lifts, if possible, for the Coniston meets as she keeps her boat at the Coniston Boating Centre.
Note 2. At the Elton planning meeting several members suggested having mid-week meets of one day or more, suitable for retired members or members who cannot, for work or other reasons, get to weekend gatherings. Several of the above meets include weekday elements for this purpose. Other meetings could be arranged on an ad-hoc basis by telephone or, for those who have it, by email. So far we have the following names on the list compiled at Elton; if any others would like to join in please let Brian McClellan know. The same arrangement could also apply for non-programme weekends.
